Wow is this ever one tough question. It is so easy to make a mistake and hurt oneself on a table saw, that is for sure. However, trying to protect myself through government legislation violates the...
Hi Ian, I did a rough calculation for a 10" blade turning at about 3400 rpm's the teeth on the outside are moving at about 150 feet per second. If the blade does really "hook up" as you mentioned,...
Larry, thanks for the heads up on the cord, I usually try to run it to the side of the saw but another thing that's easy to careless about. Maybe I should take up a safer hobby, like maybe,...
Thank you for the links Ray. It looks like that outfit should work on my saw. I need to look at the rod behind the blade to make sure. I like that design, it looks like it should be very effective.
Thanks you all for the encouragement and the advice.

My son in law and I have been working on this thing for about 5 years. We just installed it in my granddaughter's room this past Sunday. It's not nearly as nice as other projects I see posted but...
If the knockoff is anything like the real W&H machine, it's a great deal.
Another place is "Batteries Plus". Don't know if they have a store in your area but they do good quality work. I also like the fact of the increased ah.
I'm new to the forum and a first time poster but I had to say, that sure sounds like a great deal!!! Congratulations.
