i use autocad for design, but its what i feel comfortable with as i've been drafting for 25+ years. as for modeling software, i have both inventor and fusion and am teaching myself both. sketchup...
i too have used it. i did two of my cabinet doors in my shop/garage. i used them all the time for wood working dimensions and notes about mowers, ect.
even submitted it to wood magazine as shop...
my wife purchased "bar keepers friend", made a paste and put it on the stains. she left it for 15 mins., then wiped off. THE STAINS WERE GONE!! its amazing!!
the BKF contains the oxalic acid....
FYI: those "sample" paints from SW or BM or whomever, are not the same quality paint as a gallon can. they're only used to test if you like the color.
a lot of your backyard furniture...
my wife is refinishing a dropleaf table and there are dark stains in the wood. its a solid top - black walnut maybe??
she's sanded the finish off and the stains still remain. any thoughts on how...
i ordered the blade, should be in monday.

today i took the top (which was the TOP of the potting bench) and sawed the planks apart and i noticed an interesting thing. several of the board had 25-50%...
i did seal all sides and faces

does your shop have 220v? i work out of my garage and the main thing i'm limited to is 110v 20a equipment (which i had to run the 20a). do you have or can you run 220?

brandon, i read a lot of pros and cons on which honing guide to use. seems that the old hats that do sharpening can use the cheaper model. i need all the help i can get, so i too bought the veritas...
haven't had time to sharpened it yet. i work 50+ hrs with one job and lowes 20 hrs over weekends
i know it needs to be sharpened. high on my to-do list. bought a veritas honing guide which will make it easier.

well, after reading stevens post (thanks steven!) and going from there, my plane is a millers falls V line, built about late 60's to early 70's. its got the red frog and black handle and lever cap....
