Agree as well!!
Looks very good a bit smaller length wise but wider than the bench I'm trying to build. I have been watching Curtis B you tube channel and spying what he has in his shop. I'm not quite ready to...
Also canting the boards a bit will reduce tear out
I have a pair 24 inch model. I use them for sliding dove tails as well as scribing lines. They work well.
I would liked 4 discolored and a few dents is ok!
Yes the swinging doors will be used a lot that is why I'm using the Soss hinges. The cabinet is 30 inched deep and opening a slider of that size into the kitchen is a non starter. Now if you had an...
There is only 4 inches front to back not being used. What type slide would you suggest. BTW the left rear of the cabinet is a broom closet that will have a door top to bottom.
After much looking I have desired to use the Soss 212 med. duty concealed hinges.
Friday evening yes! BTW are you east or west? The shop cart awaits you! LOL
hmmm I can't quite picture that Jim. So your suggesting to put both boxes on the left side of the cabinet and both boxes slide to the front or to the side?
I'm rehabbing the kitchen area and we are tired of the pantry or lack of one. To make a longer story short Rev A Shelf has swinging doors and shelves captured on the inside of the pantry and the...
Scott, I don't disagree with your comment entirely a 24T WWII rip blade leaves a very acceptable surface with no visible tooth marks. It is a bit rougher than a more refined blade such as the red rip...
If you had an old Unifence with the round rails it catches the fence and keeps it from lifting.
Had to build a form to clamp the unifeeder to and add a F clamp in the back and front due to lift, Yeah it works. I was glad to to have to push feed all that flooring.
Craig prices help!!
Hit em with a card scraper if you don't wanna sand. Adding finishing WILL high light machine marks.
That sir, is an interesting remark and defiantly bears consideration. If this wood is as risky as it sounds is there a species of mahogany that easier and more predictable to work?
You got me here " I did stay away from the ribboning boards". Nice looking kitchen. Your frig box, is that AM ply wood?
Larry have you posted any pictures? BTW neither is my floor project LOL Once the cabinets are in minus the island I'll get that knocked out.
Hmmm Kinda hard to sneak up on raising a panel. The widest door seems like it will be 19" with an exposed portion of the panel being 15". I was planing on re-sawing and doing a book matched raised...
LOL Larry, so will my wife!
Would it be reasonable to assume that using a 6/4 to get 3/4 would be viable? I don't see QS offered in my area. I guess picking the pile would yield some QS but may not total the need for the entire...
Kitchen cabinet project is right around the corner and we settled on A.M. Is this wood particularly hard to work with? Any tips of tricks would be appreciated. It will be used for face frames, doors,...
Minimum tooling involved with a very large learning curve. It beats BCTW offering of mini plane 300.00, sliding dovetail jigs and profiles 600.00 and then you need a taper jig for another 200.00. Let...
