Thank Rob,
That's a bit more than I expected but not THAT much more. If I can't dig one up cheaper that may just have to do.

Wondering if anyone here has a source for the P'Max 22-44 Pro conveyor belt replacements. I'm looking for the poly belt as I'm tired of spending $80 on the abrasive belts only to have them...
Just posted on Wood Central that Ken Salisbury passed away yesterday. Knew him from the Pond and he was one of the people who got me into turning.
The Old Rebel will be missed
Just posted on Wood Central that Ken Salisbury passed away yesterday. Met Ken several times at the Grumbine picnics and knew him from Badger Pond days. He was one of the guys who got me into...
I've had a P'max 22-44 Pro for a number of years, and it's always been great. However, when I went to sand a wide glue up the other day, I found that my drum is about 1/8" low at the outboard end. ...
I posted here a few days ago to pass on a warning about telemarketers calling former and current AAW members to renew their memberships to get the magazine. Turns out there was a company who...
Hey Sawmillers,
I don't post here but all AAW members must take notice of an issue that has just come up in a thread running on the AAW Froum. Several AAW members have been solicited by...
Chris,
Old style CH service panel >> the neutral and the ground bus are one in the same.
Thanks,
Mark
Just for reference:
A Sparky consult resolved the issue. The extra white wire on the breaker is used in case a 120v feed is needed at the other end of the line, like if I was going to put mood...
Okay, bit of recap
There are 2 discrete circuits, each on its own 240v 20a GFCI breaker as required by the tub manufacturer (Kohler); one for pump, one for heater.
Wiring diagram for these...
Jim,
I can cap the white, but do I then connect the bare ground to the breaker's second terminal?
Thanks
Mark
Guys,
In order for the GFCI breaker to work, it must also be connected to the circuit's ground. In 120 applications it's easy because the bare goes to ground and the white "grounding conductor"...
Mike,
The red and the black are the hots in a 240 3-wire cable. My question is how to handle the white wire and the bare-ground wire for proper GFCI operation since there is an extra connection...
I'm installing a new whirlpool tub as part of a bathroom renovation. Units calls for two 220v/20a GFCI dedicated circuits; 1 for pump, other for the heater.
I ran two 10-3wg cables and it's time...
I bought the HF grinder to keep my two saws and 6 chains ready and willing. No complaints so far. I'm not, however, saying that a $65.00 HF knock-off does as well as an $800+ Silvey grinder....
Hey Bill,
If you run short of heckelers, just give a call; I'm not that far away :D
Mark
Thanks, All.
Will make a few contacts tomorrow.

Need to make a new turning tool rack and saw one using 2" plastic tubes. Anyone here have a source for such things?
Thanks

Hi Steve,
Plan on using WFS Coatings version. They have (same brand) available a vinyl sealer, a "high solids" sealer, and a general "sanding" sealer. Note on the vinyl indicates that it doesn't...
Not to worry.
Good "organic vapor" mask, gloves, body armor, etc. plus application will be in EXTERIOR spray booth [read open garage with exhaust fans at MAX], even though will be using...
Will be using pre-cat lacquer on new kitchen and bath cabinets made from red birch. Have been told to first seal with vinyl (acrylic) sealer. Anyone with experience with pre-cat on the yeah, neah,...
See that wall opposite the front porch?
Okay. Go to the center between thos 2 small windows
Get a good grip and PUSH REALLY REALLY HARD for about 10 feet . . . ;)
Alternative: Bump out...
Thanks, Gents. :D
Where do you get Red Birch Veneer?
Will be doing a kitchen rebuild and the Boss has decided that Red Birch is the Cat's PJs. Have source for solid lumber for doors/drawer-fronts, but not veneer...
Not quite, John.
See we have maybe 40-50 bf of 4/4 cherry (which Malcolm ASSURED me he would not use) being exchanged for about 1000 bf (stack was 9' x 4' x 3' of 5/4 stock) of poplar which...
