Works well for me. Placed an order Friday evening and it was in the mailbox Sunday. Didn't even know they delivered on Sunday.
With the foam roller and not applying a heavy coat no finish really gets on the prefinished plywood. I am using one of the little 3" foam rollers.
You really don't need to mask anything off. Stain is easily wiped on and if you get any on the prefinished plywood it wipes off. We just use a foam roller to apply the finish to the edgebanded...

I took Bruce's suggestion and contacted Michael. I sent him the same picture I posted here Saturday night to get a quote and Sunday morning I had a jpg of the model he created for me. Talk about...
Thanks Bruce that may be the way I have to go although I was hoping to figure out how to do it myself. I know there will be more of this type of work from this customer in the future.
It is not an onlay. Everything is carved below the surface.
I am using VCarve for most things. Do not have anything for 3D yet. Thinking about Aspire but open to suggestions. Looks like you can...
I need to reproduce the carving in the picture below. How can I get this modeled so I can carve it on my cnc?

I have found that Amana has a 1/2" dia. bit that has a 3 1/2" cutting length. Have also found some spiral 3/4" dia. 3 1/2" bits also but they are expensive. Think I will try the Amana bit and see...
I have a job where I need to cut approx. 60 corbels out of 3-1/2" thick white oak. What type of bit would work best for this and where would I get it?
Thanks
I ended up just running straight down the sides and not across the bottom. My customer is putting a mitered piece in for the bottom so the corners are square.
We were trying to save on any handwork...
I know it would be easy with a v-bit unfortunately it has to be a 3/4" cove. Trying to avoid as much hand work as possible as these are 2 sided and looking at about 150 of them. This customer uses...
The attached image is a VCarve preview of a project I have for a customer. I need a way to get the bottom corners and the point at the top to look more like a miter then rounded.
Does anyone know...
Posted before I saw your picture. I have not seen those really thin breakers in quite some time. Are you sure your panel will accept them?
Fred is correct, the 1" is for 110 volts and the 2" is for 220 volts. The receptacle on the right in your picture is 20 amp 110 volt not a 220 volt like the single on the left.
Primarily I use a Air Assisted Airless setup for major spray jobs. Several months ago I picked up a "3M Accuspray HG09 " for smaller jobs and it works really well. The atomizing heads are...

I have a 15hp regenerative blower that I am getting ready to hook up for my vacuum table. I have been trying to find the filter, air relief valve, and muffler but have not had any luck. Does anyone...

I have made several concrete countertops for customers as a part of my construction and cabinet business. My best advice for you would be to forget about trying to come up with your own mix and go...
Yes, that would work. The house would be a couple of degrees cooler as most thermostats activate aux. heat when the temperature drops 2 degrees below the normal heat setting. The only downside is...
