Looking good btw nice Kiln!:D
Glad someone got it, had me awake all last nite LOL
Stuart I'm doing close to what you are but nowhere near the panels you have planned for. I have to agree with Stuart 100%. Make sure you get them as close to level as possible to minimize the bowing....
Now that's the best idea I have heard all week! I have the same problem in my shop even with a moisture barrier.
Footers and cider block foundation will be a big plus for head room when you need to flip a long board around, but that means a large roll up door. How are going to keep moister out of the flooring?
Your plan looks good for a narrow shop. Mine is just 2 foot wider than yours and I do have a bit more packed in. A couple of suggestions from my experience:
1)I would and did build...
Buy 5 or 6/4 and resaw
Be very careful they like to have friends over and once that starts ............ well it the end of you they take over. Oh another word of wisdom they are like pencils and tape measures they play...
Ding ding ding Mike. I had a few of them which I used for tightening tubing to injector pumps or other tight places that an open ended wrench would have trouble. They came as course and fine...
A hah The Jet manual actually shows where they go where as the Performax has no mention. Time to see if one is on the machine already cause I have one in hand. I'm surprised it hasn't gotten lost.
How many did you get? I have something with 2 grooves in it the previous owner gave. Can't remember for what though.
Looks like the blade changes and adjustment will be easier than on an old Delta Invetra(???) 4 posts
Bill sometimes you get the acorn and others you don't!
Neither would I!!
Hmmm haven't anyone suggest that much fun since my last defragger video.
That's kinda what I was afraid of Bill. Wished I had never messed with cause it was riding fine where it was!
Make sure it has a 1" spindle better yet a 1 1/4. If it only has 1/2 or 3/4 You might wanna keep looking or at least I would. BTW your still going to want a router table for a few things that require...
I bought this sander and tried it out to find I didn't really like fooling around with the sanding belt.... after a bit of a learning curve and a few post from others I finally was able to keep the...
Agree as well!!
Looks very good a bit smaller length wise but wider than the bench I'm trying to build. I have been watching Curtis B you tube channel and spying what he has in his shop. I'm not quite ready to...
Also canting the boards a bit will reduce tear out
I have a pair 24 inch model. I use them for sliding dove tails as well as scribing lines. They work well.
I would liked 4 discolored and a few dents is ok!
Yes the swinging doors will be used a lot that is why I'm using the Soss hinges. The cabinet is 30 inched deep and opening a slider of that size into the kitchen is a non starter. Now if you had an...
There is only 4 inches front to back not being used. What type slide would you suggest. BTW the left rear of the cabinet is a broom closet that will have a door top to bottom.
