I have that planer, and made my own to hook to my 6" flex hose.
I used a HVAC fitting, normally used under a floor in a home.
Here is a pic, and a link to my web page with more pics and info....
I do what Glenn does - attach slides to carcass by setting them on to top of a plywood scrap which is temporarily clamped to the side of the carcass - do the top pair of slides, both sides, then cut...
My miter saw has a plywood support extending to the left, to hold long pieces of wood being cut. On it, I bolted a T-track which forms my fence - it is inline with the left fence of my miter saw. ...
I made my workbench drawers (for tool storage, such as circular saws, sanders, etc) from:
sides = 3/4" ply
bottoms = 1/2" ply
Good luck!
Dave
That rack looks nice - and that's a good buy on the mortiser. How do you like that mortiser?
Dave
It sounds like you have it figured out, the grooves in your rails and stiles need to be a big larger, relative to the size of the panel edge that slides into those grooves.
Good luck, that would...
Lots of good advice above. I repeat what some have said:
Build things, and as you build things, you'll find needs for other tools - that's how to tell what to buy next - actual need for an actual...
from a gate hinge, I kid you not. It is precisely 1/8" wide, same as my full-kerf WWII blade, and bolts right onto my Grizzly G1023SL saw.
Here are pics and info on my website:

Rob, that newman whitney planer is amazing - a 60hp motor for a 42" wide cutter - much more than 1hp per inch of planing width.
For those who didn't look, here is the link - you can play videos of...
I think the 7.5 hp motor will do a fine job at "maintaining enough air velocity / volume" as long as you have large enough ducts for the air to move through. Be sure to use 6" connections at each...
But I don't see anywhere to hook up the iPod!
One speaker on each side, mounted to the far end of the sled for a proper soundstage, with a recess in the far fence for the iPod... now you have an...
Jim, you do not need to justify this saw to anyone.
This is no different than a car enthusiast buying a Porsche, when a Geo Metro would also do the job.
You are busy, and optimizing for time...
Mine is the 1023, 3hp version. I love the saw, and it is very, very powerful.
I converted my grizzly DC to a Wynn filter.
Here is a web page I made with more info on what I did, and some pics, I hope it helps.

Tim, I just measured mine. The bottom part of the saw's base, where it meets the wheeled mobile base, is 20.5" square.
Here is what I did, web page linked below has a few pics:
teaser - splitter is made from a GATE HINGE:

tim, here is what you can expect to get when you take delivery of your Grizzly 1023 saw (pics of my delivery and setup in link below - scroll down past the jointer assembly section to see table saw...
The deleted link may have been to something similar to what I did, the legs go down diagonally to the mobile base of the saw.
Several pics are on the link below, and here is one pic:

SawmillCreek is great, and I'm glad I can help keep it going.
Dave
but until then, you CAN post pics of your progress thru that "1)...7)..." list :-)
I am very happy with the clear 6" flex hose I got from Grizzly a few years ago.
Stick a short length of 6" metal pipe into the PVC, then make your cuts in the metal pipe, to reduce it to 5". In other words, have a metal transition between your 6" pvc and 5" pvc.
I am very happy with my G1023SL table saw, G1018HW 8" jointer, and G1029 dust collector.
Good luck,
Dave
I added a subpanel - my garage also started with only 2 outlets!
Mine is 100amp, 32 breaker slots - don't get one with only a few breaker slots - you will want to expand it later.
I put in...
