Freud LU87R010...it's a great thin kerf rip blade that does well at crosscut as well. $40 or so shipped from most places. I haven't found a flaw yet, and have run 5+ blades through 2 saws.

I've been using the Freud G-L-R blade, LU87R010, which is a thin kerf. I don't seem to see it around much, but it has worked great for me both ripping and crosscutting. About $40.

    Anybody else...

Hmmm, 1x12 with a 1/32" rise in the center...doesn't sound like a problem to me. I would forget about it and glue it to "whatever you're gluing it to." (provided the 1x12 is not the substrate for...

    Jeremy,
I just finished making some of the blast gates from Bill's website. Since Gorilla glue is recommended you're OK if you're within 1/16" or so. I traced the PVC onto the melamine, roughed it...

What's your "recipe" for the oil on the bench? I'm working on a couple of work tables, made out of Red Oak and...

Yes it has carbide teeth, which is why it's so expensive. The Highland blades have hardened teeth, but not carbide. IMO, the difference between the two is one extra pass through the planer: 2...

    Given in to E16 envy

I just ordered an E16 last week, should be in after the 4th. I can't wait.

After comparing the Grizzly 513X, Rikon 18", and a brief look at the Jet, I decided to go with the Minimax based on all...
