Looks like Magfence needs to be realigned every time you use it. Not a good thing.

and never liked it. It's too heavy and pretty hard to adjust precisely.

If you have to choose between the two a mill/drill is the only way to go.
A crummy mill/drill gives you a whole lot of possibilities that you just don't have even with a high quality drill press....
