I didn't think so.
It was tarped just on top and stickered. I was thinking of running out a getting a meter.
Some pictures of the cherry I picked up yesterday. Questions at the end.

No No.
If you haven't worked with motor starters you might want to find someone who has to look at yours.
A starter has a coil that when energized engages the contacts. I have an older style...
Like you just said: "Some motors" I don't see those very often. My 5hp leeson on my DC doesn't. I've only seen them on smaller motors.
That's not the proper way to do it. Your bypassing the safty of using a starter with it's heaters to protect the motor and you.
Sure you can. I have a mag starter on my torit. I ran a plug from the coil out of the enclosure and plugged it into an X10 (crap by the way) and it works. Even comes on in the middle of the night...
Try reading through the X31 yahoo group. Might give you some insite. I was looking at all of the combo's a while ago. Ended up getting a Hammer JP instead of a full combo.
Just got it home last week. Little bit smaller than the one behind it.

I asked about that a couple years ago and all the reviews were that it was junk.
Really not much to show. On the inside there is a shelf between the base that flares out and the sides of the cabinet. I lined that with plywood and sealed around the edges and then cut a 6" hole...
It is my real name. Try putting a space in there and it's spelled Phee. If some admin wants to correct it go ahead.
I'd have to disagree also. The problem is you have a huge volume to move out of the cabinet. I opened mine up to 6" on my PM 66. One of the big problems with cabinet saws is their not sealed in...
I believe he said it all in the first message...
"Amazon has the Woodworker II (40T) saw blade "
Ah, I see it.
What's the 9.99 promotion? I don't see it.
Your going to need a 15hp rotary to start it.
I've just made my fences out of plywood. Mines's a 5hp PM 26. I have one for raised panels and one for other profiles.
Yep. Or a slave singlephase motor.
Either of those sets will do a good job.
Yes, that was the one I was talking about, but it might be too large for your shaper. 1hp might not be enough power. I don't believe they have an insert...
Your trying to run a compressor? Don't even think of using a static converter. You'll loose too much HP and the motor probably wont' be able to start. I wouldn't even consider a rotary unless your...
You'd be better off using router bits with a router. The shaper spindle turns too slow most router bits. You have to slow your feed rate way down to get a good cut. For something like a panel...
I believe a transformer will cause a leg to be 90deg out, but power is power. It's being used somewhere. Transformers aren't 100% efficient. You loss power as heat. Using capacitors makes a much...
Looks like a scam. A 15kva transformer, even used, is going to set you back some bucks unless you find a deal. Also, a single phase one is about 150#'s. Three phase would be over 200#'s.
A...
Ya, that's what through me when he said that. The manual does say DC braking.
I'm getting very tempted to pull the covers off and have a look around.
