That works every time. If you screw up the spray job just go to the steel wool & wax.
Way to go Chris.
At times this joint can use a bit of humor and I'm sure you will be willing to provide it.

Hi Al,
Congratulation on getting the sander. All I have is a Ryobi 16/32 (pretty much the same as the new Steel City model) but it comes in real handy. The real fine grit paper seems to plug up...
Did somebody ask about where to get quality sandpaper rolls?
These guys are great. I now buy all my abrasives from them.

Thank you for all the nice comments.
Clint Jones (Leonard Bailey on Wood-Net) sells planes every once in a while. If you see one of his, snap it up as he knows his stuff and does not buy or sell...
Hi Al,
Believe it or not, I've been finding good deals on ebay. There are some guys who will cut to size. If you can get them cheap enough regular carbon 'hook' style blades are fine. Otherwise...
I'm with Mike as it is a complement to my MM16. I put a 3/16" blade on it and it handles all of my small stuff just fine.
BTW The Sears saw cost less than the carbide blade did that I use on the...
Way to go Dad.
U might be kinda funny, but what Dad isn't.

There are other things on tv that are worse.
Flip this ;)
I just went out and counted, and even though I have 8 routers (I hate to change bits) and a big kick ass band saw that seems to be used the most, I would have to say that the table saw is the most...

I agree with Steve.
Somebody probably replaced the fork. It isn't very hard to knock out the pin then file it down until everything fits. In a way this is good because when you are done you will...
Another way to get a really thick blade in a Stanley is to use a tapered one. They might be a bit hard to find but they are out there. I know that among others Fulton made them
Another trick is to...
Hi John,
I just bought The 13 cfm pump from these guys, hooked it up to a 3 hp (15 amp) motor and it works great. You can use a 2 hp motor (12 amps) but will have to use a smaller motor pulley and...
Yep,
me too.
Thanks for all the finishing tips Steve.
I also bought one of those $100 Craftsman band saws to complement my Mini-Max. It does every thing I need it to do.
I agree about the FS 50 tooth combo. I didn't like it near as much as the Leitz 50 tooth blade.
I am going to switch to the WW II 30 tooth and give it a try as a all purpose blade. My saw has a...
I wouldn't mind getting a few.
Carroll,
Check your messages.
BTW a 3/8" hose is a good idea but your 1/4" one should work if you keep it short and the pressure on the wall around 80 psi.
Hi Kevin,
That is a nice looking plane. You've got it looking good. 4 1/2's are a useful size.
As to the missing screw I'm pretty sure one off a Stanley will work. The thread is a #12-20 tpi...
