I would go with the wooden floor by all means. It'll be much better for you to stand on, much less fatigue on your legs and back. You can also incorporate prewiring and duct work in to wood floor...

Last year my niece along with her family visitted us here NJ. Her dauther (6-7 I think) decided to hang around the shop. As she was poking through the pile of offcuts, she decided on her own to build...
I'd use 16 ga to nail it to the wall, 18 ga to nail outside miter joints. For casing I use 16 ga to nail it to the wall, 18 ga to nail it to door jambs and outside of the miter joints.
I had this problem once and tried to freeze them out as been suggested, but it did not work. It might work in cold country, but here in Norheast it just is not cold enough. I stocked these boards...
After renting a backhoe for a month ($1,800 off season) for one of the construction projects to do backfilling, garage excavation, 3 dry wells, I quickly learned that it is a very useful tool to have...
I'm not sure if this be any help to you, but it might be to some one else reading it down the line. I had a good success drilling 3/8" hole in 3/4" plywood to feed wires for under cabinets lighting...
WOW - that's custom built! Very interesting how custom car stereo installation have progressed over the years. Back in early '80's I had started to supplement my income by making speaker boxes for...
I would use the threaded holes on the right side of your table. Drill and thread the same on the left side. Use your angle approach, but flip it up side down. May have to grind off a bit by the...
One of my first projects on consignment, back in early '80, was pair of speaker boxes that housed KEF speakers sold back then as kits. It was 5 sided solid oak box with the cloth grill on front of...
The only time metal valley makes a good way to go is when the roof is steep, 10/12 or steeper (unless 3-tab shingles are used). The architecture type shingle are rather tough to weave as the pitch...
Thank you everyone for your input. Just got the email that it was sold.
I've seen it on CL yesterday, sent an email and still waiting for the response. Wanted to get it for that price as a second saw to my slider, but some one had to beat me to it, posting is gone
I would not use PT lumber for raised bed. Isn't the reason you would want to grow your own tomatoes so you can have them "pure", free of any fertilizers and such. I just learn that black locust will...
Really? I'm confused, when I click on the link, it's there. I email the guy and should know shortly if it's sold.
I came across this Lathe http:// newjersey.craigslist.org/tls/2299421145.html
I can't find the model # because was painted over, therefore I'm not sure if the parts are still available. It needs the...
Nice job, one question though, is the blade guard original? I noticed 3 spots on it to mount these safety "contraption" (I hope you plan to install them, they really work). I have one RAS just like...
If you have a band saw you can get a band knife (toothless band saw blade) http://www.yorksaw.com/content/view/20/86/
If not, I guess you can try to modify your scroll saw blade some how to...
+1 Brian
I'm boycotting bing since they discontinue their cash back rebates
I had good results adhering solid surface (corian as well) to plywood using "roo glue". I think it should work on MDF just scuff both surfaces with rough sandpaper.
Pressure treated pine makes most sense to me. Home Depot sells 1x4 & 1x6. You would need to edge join them to get the needed width. Use gorilla glue. Make sure to provide drain hole for your boxes....
Don't forget to get a good garage doors. Clopay 9200 series are excellent, 2" thick with R value of 17.2, also get insulated glass for their windows ( can even get them in obscure glass ) Now you can...
How about this one? http:/newjersey.craigslist.org/tls/2284798475.html
I think that is wishful thinking especially for genuine Mahogany. Back in Nov '09, I won just over 2000bd ft of African Mahogany (4 different lots). The price averaged about $3/bdft with 10% buyers...
This looks to be made with moulder as one piece. You can try this...
I must have seen one someplace before, I just can't really recall it. I built one using an old (drove over with back hoe) aluminum drywall t-square. No welding, just few machine screws. It really...
