At the end of spring, last year, a strong storm blew through the Philadelphia Area, and knocked down a large white oak in Washington Square Park. I ride my bike through said park each day on the way...

It's not like i'm leaning into it, really...
Mostly it's just when rounding blanks, instead of having the tool bounce around and "beat me up..."
It smooths out the job.
Plus, it's not real cool...
So, i've recently purchased a pinned tool rest from PSI to fit my new Jet 1642.
It allows me to REALLY hog though roughing the profile of a bowl...
