Tried and True Tools in Fridley was a good place to go. I understand they closed a few years ago. Seven Corners was the ultimate place for tools. I'm close to Acme but not a fan of the place.

I have had some mixed results in dealing with ACME for many years. There might be some truth to what you are saying.
But I think I would like a vintage saw like that in my shop.

This is why I avoid buying anything that is so technically advanced. The up side is minimal and the downside is that you cant fix anything by yourself or easily.
