Last time I...
I don`t know how close you are to a city of any size.

You should be able to find...

Well maybe? Like Brian Hale, I bought in on the same deal.
You could start an arguement by asking which router is best in this category. Many swear by the Bosch, or PC.
I handled all 3 and felt...
If you want to keep the house, Keep the gutters.

Very nice work, and thinking outside the box at that!
Awesome!
I use deck screws where I would drywall. The more agressive threads don`t strip out the wood as easily.
Well there is a Bt3100 in my shop, guard is in place, kickback pawls removed. It does have the riving knife in place.
I find the guard a mixed blessing and will either cut down the riving knife...

Glad to see you mention that Kelly. A few weeks ago I was discussing some of the issues of using Knotty pine in some cabinets with a couple of sales people at the Woodsmith Store in Des Moines. They...
David: You have a saw so use it! I can assure you with complete confidence at some time you will want to upgrade, but use it until you find out what it won`t do and you`ll have a better idea what...

Mine had a jet sticker on it as well. I bought mine at the Woodsmith store in Des Moines.
After glueing up a box last saturday night, when I knew better than to do so when tired. I was disgusted with my doweling jig.
The box was out of square and when I tried to prang it back all 4...
That sure is a nice mobile base. I have a BT3100 I am planning to set up just like that Well maybe MDF in place of the Oak ply though. I have the same magazine, a couple of shop notes with base plans...
I think that would be as good a way to choose as any.
The 4 you listed are all good machines and pretty near equal.
You will find some who prefer each.
Each may have strengths and weaknesses, that...
Well er I kinda done that today myself. I`t don`t quite seem right to have over 300 hrs of sick time banked up when its 70 degrees in november, so I called in sick of work.
Cleaned the shop and...
Oh boy! This could be a tough one!
I have designed a lot of machinery that never got built, but it gave my mind a workout. Oddly enough I was often told I was out of my mind?
Most of my ideas...
Today, my boss called me into her office. Yeah I figured what have I done now? She says" I understand you do woodworking?" Yes I do, I say.
"Are you any good?" she says. I like to think so, but the...

And I think PENN OAK is actually Pin Oak a variety of red oak?
Red Oak, White Oak, Burr Oak,scrub oak, and Pin Oak are common in Iowa.

However, two days a week I work in a Walmart, and the variety of canes I see rangeing from a gnarley...
