I had the same problem, I solved it by using a relay and a photo switch (with manual overide) If I'm in my shop the compressor is on, once I turn the lights off the compressor won't start.

I have used catalized finishes but they were mixed right before i used them (Campbell finished) they have about an 8 hour life in the gun. it's like a automotive finish, really tough! I did a whole...

i would reccomend a catalyzed varnish (sprayed) toughest finish i have ever used. goes down fast, you can put on 3-4 coats in a afternoon. good luck, Steve
