Probably a dumb question, but where do you guys buy your stamp kits to laser engrave. I never have done this before, I've done a lot of research here at SMC, but can't seem to find a good/cheap...
We do install the rule in all dies, but, we do not send rule prebent for you to install in your board. Problem is if the rule and board are not the "exact" same, you will have a gap in the rule or a...
Thanks for the help everyone, just another reason why this is the best place on the web!
That is a nice system Richard, a lot of work but very cool you are able to make it work.
At the same time, a die shop can cut most jobs in 2 minutes on a 2000W machine, cost $4-7 max per sq ft...
No luck with whatthefont on the picture.
Clarendon BT is close, and News 701 BT is close also. I think the customer is just going to have to settle for "good enough" on this project.
I hate asking for font help but I am at a dead end here.
I have a local racer that I need to make a small engraving for. Problem is they want the "exact" #31 on the bike, but can not provide...
I work for a steel rule die shop, if you need a die, let me know. Our lasers can not cut the kerf right. You need a .028" wide kerf top and botton to insert the steel in to. Smaller lasers...
You should be able to get a connector like that at any radio shack or larger hardware store. Again, do what Dan said and make SURE that connection is secure. I would wrap it in electrical tape...
I also have to agree these are die cut parts as my day job is in the steel rule die industry. A die that might cost $250 can produce several hundred parts per hour, where as a laser can't that...

They look great, nice work
I am picking up my collector tomorrow. Very nice job on this, if I can get mine done as half as good as you did, I should be fine.
Looks like an 80W 24 x 36 table.
I almost bought this exact same machine, but went with a Rabbit instead. Let me know how it works and your overall thoughts when you get it up and running.
Thanks everyone. I got it to work pretty good now. I went out and bought a scotch pad but it was agressive and scratched the glass. I will try the firm brush approach first tomorrow and then...
Check this guy Curt. Might still be available.

Hello everyone. I have a King Rabbit 9060 80W. I have owned this for only about a month and this is my first laser engraver. I am still making my way through this thread but I have found this...
Thanks Steve and Bruce. Will update my sig now. I did just the diswasher soap, that helped a little. I did the soap and wet paper towel, and that helped even more. Also used the brilo pads. There...
Hello all, new to the forum, but been lurking for monthes and reading thousands of posts. Really have learned a lot. I will intro myself later.
I have a 9060 Rabbit 80W machine that I have...
