I use mostly Cherry and White Ash. Then there are always a few odd ones.
Like Plum, Walnut and Pear. The finishes I use most often are Walnut oil or
mineral oil. They're easy to apply and food safe.

Take a 0000 steel wool pad and shred it into a plastic peanut butter
jar containing white vinegar. Let the solution set for a few days and
