Well, the ratio is pretty much ideal to my way of thinking. I always thought the ideal house would be about 1300 ft2 living area with a 4 car garage and a 2000 ft2 shop!

Those make great toast--very uniform, and heavy duty NiCr elements to last a long time. Congrats!

After years of using a toaster oven exclusively, we picked up a KitchenAid 2-slice toaster for ~$40 (or less?). Toasts more uniformly than the toaster over, and does a great job on English muffins...

LOL yes indeed. I must admit to feelings of guilt, although I consoled myself with the fact that I'd never listened to most of the records I trashed, and the ones I did were unlistenable.

The Festool track saw worked like a charm. I tried it first with the blade backwards and had a lot of chipping, so decided to try it the "right" way and it worked pretty well. I fashioned a 8 1/2"...

I haven't totally ruled that out, and I'm also considering a combination where I square up the records to ~11" leaving curved "diamond" spaces between the LPs. I just haven't figured out how...

This is probably the best/cleanest way to do it. I don't have one, however, so I'm going to experiment with what I've got.

The records are cheap. The Festool and Forrest blades aren't, although I doubt that I'd actually ruin one, but gunking them in is a definite possibility.

I'm going to give my track saw a shot...

Festool track saw/MFT/shopvac gets used A LOT. Don't use my tablesaw or bandsaw as much as I thought I would, but they are handy when I need them.
