I would suggest a humidity and temperature monitor, there are many basic models and you can also get humidity data loggers which will graph changes. Once you get the data you can get an idea of how...
Use an angle grinder on the carpet tacks, you should be able to get them flush with little damage.
T111 sheathing is my favorite- strong, holds paint well easy to work. DP
First, dedicate a space that you can keep clean and install a explosion preventive fan. I use an industrial curtain to separate the area and source outside air through a window with a filter cover....
Julie,
if you have access to Fine Woodworking ( web or paper) here are some articles I found helpful:
FWW 237 Oct 2013 using space, FWW 216 Oct 2010 our friend from Cypress, FWW 167 Jan 2004 Roll...
I would recommend sanding between coats with progressively finer grits.

You may have gotten too much wax on your project. Like Prashun suggests, I would wait a bit then see where you are. You can always clean the wax off with furniture polish, naphtha or mineral spirits....
Chris,
Definitely interested in your source of trays and article.
Thanks,

It's good to have the regulator higher, condensation will tend to drain into the tank. My concern would be access to the tank drain valve. The tank needs to be drained pretty often in some climates....
I used to do wood floors professionally and this
is what I would recommend. We have this on our house oak floors with dogs & cats and lots of foot traffic. You can repair almost any problems with...
+1 on the ply under the bench, I've done it and it works well to stabilize the bench.

I'd add on to the cabin, from your description it only has the disadvantage of size. For me the other locations would be too inconvenient for anything but storage. You might convert the porch first...
Phil,
Nice shop, well thought out. I could justify a more expensive saw (used in our business) but I have two BT3000s that do just what I need. Won't trade them or my FIL's 1955 ShopSmith. It ain't...
Only 20 something years....show her the money>>>

Nice job John but I have a question- the thread title is "I would pay good money to have someone organize my shop". Did I miss the part of the video where you handed over the cash?

I found this on the Scheppach site, hope it helps,
Technical data
- Low pressure 2500 Pa
- Filter area 0.3 mē
- Filtration 0.3 micron
- Filling capacity 50 litres
- Hose length 2000 mm

Yep, the part about only sleeping 5 hours a night rings true.
Nice work,

John,
My wife and I watched your videos and thoroughly enjoyed them. My wife said to tell you that you married above yourself.

If you plan on doing much finish work, especially solvent based, I'd set that up away from the son's room and wife's office. I've had it attached to the house and it can be problematic due to out...
Agreed, we've gone through at least a dozen of the cheaper ones. It's not just that they are not accurate, it's the tolerances are so wide as to be of little use.

Plus one on the Extech brand of digital hygrometer. Digital data loggers are also an option and are becoming way more affordable if you want to monitor the space over time. We use them to monitor...
You'll love the epoxy, I'd hire it done for that price, it's a lot of work that you could put into something else.
DP
Phil,
You can rent a buffer with coarse abrasive pads, buff the concrete, then vacuum and mop. You're just trying to give the epoxy a foot hold. If you go the acid route, use clear lacquer or paint...
