The cabinets at my parents home (London ON) and their cottage (Carnarvon ON) are hickory. Though there is an abundance of oak and maple cabinets up here.

I have a European woodworking bench that I inherited from my Grandpa. I use my table saw outfeed table for glue-ups/assembly. Then i have a 10 foot long bench on one wall with my SCMS built in. The...
Regardless of which router setup you go with, I'd budget for the sliding table. It is really awesome. I only wish I had gotten it sooner.

I bought new push blocks when mine started to slip, but the new ones slipped too. Turns out my jointer blades were dull. Sharpened the blades and my push blocks didn't slip anymore.

Another cheap solution is to attach foam sill gasket to your studs before sheeting them.

Just wondering where your jointer and planer are in the diagram.

If I had to do it alone, I'd probably go vertical with...
Mine is built in - very convenient. I may be alone, but I don't need more than 5' to the right, as long as there is a lot of space to the right. I've always had something butted up against the right...

What kind of clamps are you using? When I used to use pipe clamps, I'd check flatness with a straight-edge the shim them to get my panels flat. Once I bought the GS parallel clamps, I didn't have to...
There is no one right way. I usually do half-blind dovetails front and back. 5/8" stock. 1/4" ply bottom. Groove is 5/16" deep into the stock, and 1/2" up from the bottom (because I often use Blum...
For doors, I just rely on the T&G with Titebond glue. Never had an issue. For something structural, like a headboard, or something like that, I reinforce with 2 dowels at each joint. It's pretty...
Slick! Nice work!

All you need to do is use a hair dryer to heat up the flex hose. Blow the air into the end of the hose, then pull the hose end open. You Can pull 6" flex over a 7" pipe this way!

Most of my tools don't move a whole lot. I do move my bandsaw and jointer a little bit, and I have to roll out my drumsander every time it is used. The floor is holding up well. I haven't noticed any...
It's late here, but I'll take a crack at it..
It's the same.
A long radius 90 degree elbow adds the same S.P. as 12' of straight pipe (at 6" and 7" dia.). A sharp 90 adds way more. The...
