Here's how I make mine, and I do a lot of them. Remove plastic from Romark. Cover with paper transfer tape. Engrave then cut. Remove pieces.

Hi all. Been a while since I posted here. Won't go into why.
I am in need of a driver for the mpc03 stepper card. I am running XP. If anyone has one they would share It would be very much...
I work with ivory all the time. I buy it and sell it. It is ILLEGAL to import or export ivory, or any article made from ivory, in the USA. However, ivory that was here prior to 1983 when the CETA act...
I do a fair amount of 12 x 12 granite tiles and I don't do anything to it before or after except wipe it off with a dry rag.
Amour All is great for marble, but as has been said sometimes it is...
Dear Dee,
You have the best ideas. I buy the boards from Jim and engrave school mascots on them. They are beginning to sell some now.
Thanks.;)
That's quite a find Frances!! Thanks.
I think you may be finding out! Maybe Harold can tell you ;>).
I agree it's way cool, but also a little creapy!
Good idea. I'll have to make one myself. I have some folks that want about 10 doz. half open to use in a wedding. I really want to make the new one hinged on the front with latches on the back...
Yes, there is some inconsistency. I placed a square of 1/4" foam under each rose. This presses it up tight against the lid. That helped a lot. Now I throw out about 1 or 2 every 3 or 4 dozen.
I...
Great find! Thanks.
Don't feel so stupid. I even saved it in a folder by itself anticipating several files. And, if that's not enough I DID try to turn the pages. Dummy!
I really like your webpage. Looks like you do some mighty fine work. Wish I could help with the graphics, but alas I don't have any.
Keep up the good work. Looks great!
Welcome Emmett. It is amazing what a young, free mind can come up with. Let us hear about and see some of the ideas that you see.
I know you can do it with X3 the same as X4. Not too hard if you have the code.
Jackie,
I did the whole dozen. It takes about 6-8 min to do a dozen in the jig. I figure at .96 cost per dozen and 7.00 selling I'm doing OK.
I have a restaurant lined up, O'Malleys, for green...
Yes, or I let the top unattached. I load from the top and then use masking tape to hold the top in position. I also put a piece of 1/4" foam in the bottom to give the rose a little spring and keep it...
Here is the jig I promised. Sorry so late. It was glued together with weldon 3. I saved it in v12 just in case you don't have x3.
Ray--I'll post it tomorrow when I get back home.
Tim, That's who I bought from. Seem like nice honest people. Roses were good, price was good, delivery was excellent.
Steve,
I made 2 plexi jigs that hold 1 doz. each. It takes 8 minutes to do a dozen. While one is engraving I unload and reload the other jig. I also made a fixture to lay a dozen in with a sleeve...
Dear Jackie,
Thank you so much for the wooden rose idea. I just finished up the Valentine rush from 3 high schools in the area. Roses in their school color with their mascot engraved on them. 2 of...
Not sure I can help, but the first thing I would do is to turn off the computer, remove the card, and reinstall. Then let windows find it and do its thing. Also, be sure the plugs are in tight and...
I believe that you will not see any appreciable recovery in industry for at least 4 years. The decline will take its toll on small business. As was said, those operating on borrowed money will soon...
I don't think anyone has asked this. Do you have any kind of network now? Wired or wireless or a combination of the two?
