    I bolted a 6" x 6" piece of Trex to each leg of the compressor then attached a 1" thick piece of Rubber floor mat to that.

    Hadn't thought about it, but I do like the look of emt over pvc.

    Metal boxes for the emt, any big box store will have what you need.

    I hang my 3 ladders off the back of the garage (outside). Used shelf brackets, have had no problems.

    +1 on the bike hooks in the ceiling if you want to keep them inside.
