Wow!!! Now that is some TS/RT real estate. And those floors are gorgeous too. I wish I had room for such a large work surface. You have done a nice job of making your TS/RT a nice place to work. The...
Congratulations on getting 100% more power!!!!
Nice job. Looks like a great use of space while still maintaining the needed surface area to do the job right.
Thanks for taking time to share some photos.
Well, I was shoping for a new TS and found this review.
I realize this is old but I figured this would give you time to give us a follow up on how your saw has held up.
I realize the new saws...
Very nice work and I love the design.
You should enjoy it for years to come.
I thought I would raise this thread from the dead to find out what you finally decided on.
Very elegant. I love the wood, finish, and the design. The hard work really shows. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful choice of wood, finish, and design. The craftsmanship should make you very proud. Your hard work shows and I hope you and your family enjoy it for years to come.
Sounds like the perfect excuse to buy a tool to me.
Here is what you need. It works with all sorts of weird angles and shapes.
Rockler or Woodcraft would be a good place to look under strap...
Nice work and beautiful wood.
So is skateboarding coming back?
If you make these boards any longer, they may just start looking like a luge.
The only real disadvantage is that certain operations and setups may be interupted and cause one to have redo one's settings. Not a big deal if you don't do a lot of woodwork. Can be a pain and...
So THAT is what I have been doing wrong all this time!!!!
I hope it did not sound like complaining. I love cold weather myself and anything to postpone summer is fine with me.
You and my client may be neighbors. He is on Toddville Rd.
I see you chose to show your skills rather than take the easy way out.
I agree that through DT's would have been easier.
Again, nice job!!!
...........and that is Brad, by the way.
+1 on a clear finish. Even a hand rubbed oil may do the trick although it may take a while to really hit its peak.
I agree with the others. I think your neighbor got the better deal and he will appreciate your thanks long after your pads wear out again!
I like it too!
The wood has a nice grain and the design has a good scale to it.
Ditto.
Those scraps would also make for some great inlay patterns too!
What a great deal on some beautiful wood!
Should make for some great projects.
I really like the design and the wood work is well done!
Thanks for sharing.
Did you do the blind DT's by hand?
Great idea and well done.
I need to do make one, as well.
Now, if I could only figure out how to find more time.
Man, I wish I had more time to play.
I am so buried in projects, I wonder if I will ever get to do something just for fun!
Nice job, by the way. And imaginative use of materials too!

Well, I switched gears and began the drawer blind dovetail setup.
This is just a test box. They have not been sanded. Looks like they will turn out fine.
I noticed some burning. I realized I...
Preheating is not a problem. I will just store it inside the house until I am ready.
