Irion has 150 BFT minimum for shipping. Don't see that being very economical living in West Washington. I may end up going with veneer.

Hinges are from Horton and Brass look just like the ones Mark shows. But I think a mock up is a good idea.
Need to location the hinges for the slant top on the Secretary desk I'm making and I really don't want to screw it up. I little advise from someone who has made one would be appreciated.

It is leaving a high spot the length of the board 1/8" wide and maybe .030 high. Thought it was the cutting knives but I installed a new set same thing.
Well maybe I'll gorilla glue in a piece of wood to plug the slot and then use it for my 45 degree insert that way it will cut a slot in a different location in the insert. I'll just make a new one...
I have a Phenolic tablesaw insert that I would like to fill in the saw slot and then recut. Anyone know what to use for this?
Drilling a hole would provide strain relief in the corner just like with metal but not sure what to use to drill a hole in glass. I'll have to research that.
