Dick,
Do you happen to have a link to the cart plans? I've looked at his website and his Youtube videos, and I can't seem to find it.
Thanks!

If you're extremely lucky... then, yes... a board can flatten itself. I suggest purchasing lottery tickets very soon... before said luck runs out! :)

Finally finished the two toolboxes for under my workbench... Pretty simple birch ply boxes with maple trim and cherry drawer fronts. Already filled them with chisels, squares, and handplanes...

So... I have pretty much the same system, and I fought the exact same problems for months! I have given up on bags within the drum. I just leave the bags out and empty the drum when it gets full. ...

Hello everyone!
Looking for a reliable source for some 3/8" clear acrylic sheet... I want to build a couple of router jigs and my local box store only has 1/4" sheet. Amazon's suppliers seem...
I missed out on a DJ-20 for $600 by just a few hours this weekend... It popped up on Craigslist on Thursday afternoon... My plan was to buy it on Saturday. Guess I should have taken a vacation day. ...

Got the first coat of BLO / Mineral Spirits / Spar Varnish mix on the workbench base... Hopefully, will have it finished by the end of the week... That way I can move on to the top. :)
Thanks...

I tell my friends all the time that I am not a mechanic (shade tree at best) or a woodworker (purely amature)... What I am is a tool collector! I say hang onto them...

You may want to check out www.ncwoodworker.net It's a good woodworking site, though not nearly as large as SMC. Might be able to meet some local woodworkers.

Enjoyed the video! You do, indeed, make it look much less scary than it sounds!

Peter,
On the short side (4' side), did you join the two sheets in any way? I'm thinking that might actually be an acceptable use for my biscuit joiner... Or, conversely, did you just allow the...
Peter,
Are you using 4x8 sheets of tongue and groove OSB subfloor, or something smaller over the Delta FL?
I cannot answer that question, as my wife knows I hang out here and is not above checking on me... :)
One warning... If you have a SawStop, make sure that when you rotate the fence the extruded aluminum doesn't contact the blade. It's bad... Don't ask how I know. :)
Mike
Terry,
Did you glue the osb seams in any way, or tack the flooring to the foam with adhesive, or did you just lay it on top?
Sold my Unisaw for $1000... Easily. I'd say $750 is more than fair...
Finally completed laminating the top to my new workbench... It turned out really nice and flat. It's currently 6.5' long x 23" wide x 3.25" thick... And, I think it weighs over 200lbs! It's...
Still hoping for an answer to my questions... Did you or should I somehow glue the advantec edges together (I understand that they are tongue and groove)? And, the 1/4" sheet added on top... was it...
I would coat the shaft with Vaseline and then place the cage over it, being careful to center and align it properly... Then pack the hole with JB weld... Once cured, the fan should be removable...
