Finally finished the two toolboxes for under my workbench... Pretty simple birch ply boxes with maple trim and cherry drawer fronts. Already filled them with chisels, squares, and handplanes...

Got the first coat of BLO / Mineral Spirits / Spar Varnish mix on the workbench base... Hopefully, will have it finished by the end of the week... That way I can move on to the top. :)

Finally... I have a functional workbench. Still have some planing and sanding to do. Then a couple coats of varnish/linseed oil mix. Then a toolbox for the bottom. But, at least it's functional...

You may want to check out www.ncwoodworker.net It's a good woodworking site, though not nearly as large as SMC. Might be able to meet some local woodworkers.

Are you using 4x8 sheets of tongue and groove OSB subfloor, or something smaller over the Delta FL?

I cannot answer that question, as my wife knows I hang out here and is not above checking on me... :)

One warning... If you have a SawStop, make sure that when you rotate the fence the extruded aluminum doesn't contact the blade. It's bad... Don't ask how I know. :)

Did you glue the osb seams in any way, or tack the flooring to the foam with adhesive, or did you just lay it on top?

I would coat the shaft with Vaseline and then place the cage over it, being careful to center and align it properly... Then pack the hole with JB weld... Once cured, the fan should be removable...
