I am getting conflicting advice on different sites when asking about how many hinges per side. The table is 52" long. Some say there should be one 3-4" from the end and every 10" there after and some...
And you mounted the PCS conversion kit correctly? I ask because mine does not move in the cradle either when lifted or on the floor. Yours shouldn't either. Especially when raised because it moves so...

Are you pumping it up high enough for it to completely clear the floor? It takes about 5 pumps with mine and it rolls very easily.
Are you sure to mounted the conversion kit correctly? The...
I have been having a problem logging onto my account at Grizzly all day (12-20). Has anybody else been having the same problem?
Good Morning Webb
I am 76 years old and have owned 4 table saws in my life.
A Craftsman cabinet saw
A Craftsman 1.75 HP hybrid saw
A Grizzly Sliding Table saw
And after a very strange set of...
I am at a loss as to how this should be done. The fence is not tall enough to support a U style jig and the back does not support one. How do you guys with this type saw cut these tenons?...
I have the Jet JJP-12 HH and also have never had a problem with it. I am in the process of milling curly maple. Taking only 1/32" cuts it is producing very smooth surfaces with no tear out. I thin k,...
I had this same problem with mine. In the book you will find the answer. Don't have it in front of me now but you need to loosen a nut on the back of the machine and it will free up.
Indeed :D
Ya today i'm getting adds every time I log in and I'm a contributor and am not suppose to. I think there is a problem some where here.

Thanks for all the reply's.
In the end I started with a 1/4" up-cut spiral bit down the center making 3 passes for depth. Then switched to a 3/8" up-cut spiral bit down the center. then...
The mortise needs to be 3/4" wide by 1 1/2" deep by 48" long. What do you all thing about using two edge guides and starting at each end use an up-cut spiral bit to plunge a series of holes about 4"...
Cool Pat. Maybe that's whats wrong :)
Great idea with the U shaped templet guide. I have a new bit and will set up the guide tonight.
Thanks And I will be making a mortise or for you other...
I have been trying to route this grove for two days and still think I don't have the correct idea. I have tried going to the left and to the right but still have found that at times the router will...
And in the end I just routed a tongue on the end because it seemed the simplest way forward. Now I just have to cut the mortise in the end cap.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Can a flush trim bit be plunged into the end grain like a stopped dado?
I ask because I also have to cut a matching slot in the end cap.
Well I've reached the point where I have to cut "the slot". The bench top is 1 3/4 Maple and the slot for the spine ( 1/2" plywood) needs to be in the middle about 2" from each end. However every way...

I use a couple of Dewalt track saw clamps with my Makita track. They work very well holding the track in place. You will find the track is more stable on wood by if the cut is to be perfect...
I should have included the following:
1" thick Poplar doors
each approx 12" wide
hinges are on the face not mortised in
being built in the summer in New England = pretty humid time of year.
I have a pair of opposing inset doors made that fit the opening exactly. How much clearance do the doors need to open and close with out binding? I think the doors need to have a 3 or 4 degree angle...
Thanks guys
The frame will go on first. I had not thought about the fact that the doors will want to shift a little after they are hung.
Is it best (easiest) to build, fit and mount the doors to the frame before the frame is mounted to the cabinet or wait until after it is mounted? It seems to me that if the frame is lying flat on the...
I too have the same saw. Never tried to balance a nickel on it, but it cuts real good and that what I bought it for.
But I would want that electrical problem solved definitely.
