Does anyone know if there's a router spindle available for Delta's 43-375 HD shaper. I did a search and found a couple of websites that sells a router spindle they claim would fit this model shaper....
I just picked up a used dw735 locally for $250, in like new condition. :) Check your local ads, you'll be surprise at what you can find. I like it so much, I'm selling my Ridgid planer I bought new 1...
Thanks for the tips guys. I better check out that book before I make any decisions.
I found a Dewalt Powershop for sale locally for $150. The saw looks to like it's in great shape. I was wondering if this is a good price for one of these. Also the seller said that it starts up a...
Thanks Charles, I've already placed an order.
Thanks Howard, I guess I can't use the full width of the dado set on this saw.
Does anyone know if the Freud dial-a-width dado will fit on the Dewalt 746 or not?
Thanks
Cary
This jig is fully adjustable from 1"-27".
Although the cutting capacity of this jig is 27", I think I'd prefer using a router and a trammel jig to cut large circles.
There's no runner...
Jim, I didn't think of that, good suggustion though. When I started building the jig I was thinking on a smaller scale. (bowl blanks, small project parts, etc.) Besides, it'll be a while before I...
I made this circle jig recently to help me cut bowl blanks and round project parts. It serves it's purpose very well. I figured, if it works on the bandsaw, why not use it on the router table too. I...
Here's mine
Thanks for looking guys. I forgot to mention, it's made of spalted red oak and the stem is walnut.

Looks almost like a cap. Nice job.
I managed to save a turning last night after a bad catch with a skew. I wanted to turn the whole thing as one peice, but it didn't work out as planned. The finial at the top was suppose to be...
My first experience was in the 6th grade. We made toy trucks. There wasn't much cutting, mostly glueing and sanding. My grandfather was a furniture maker and my uncles were cabinet makers. ...
I bought a used Jet dp-17mf and a Jet jj-6cs today. I paid $500 for both. Both are in good working order. Just some minor rust. These 2 are the older models (blue not white). I have both tools...
I think mine's pretty darn sharp. I had a bad catch once and it somehow slipped into my left palm. That left a 2 1/2" beveled gash! Of course that kept me away from the lathe for awhile.
Thanks for all the compliments guys. :)

I had a couple of hours to waste today here's what I ended up with.
From left to right, Executive, Polaris, 24k Slim, Satin Slim.
It looks like the Rikon is off my list. I don't want to buy another chuck or have 2 drill presses. This is my second failed attempt to try Rikon tools, the first was their 18" bandsaw. I found some...
Wood Magazine issue 173 rated the Dewalt 735 as top tool and the Ridgid tp1300ls as top value. I have the Ridgid model and love it. Changing the knives is very easy on this model.
I need some help with choosing A new drill press. So far I've narrowed it down to either the Ridgid for $259 or the Rikon for $329. These 2 models are within my price range and appears to be very...
Welcome to the forum Mike. I like your shop setup. My floor plan is very similiar to yours. I had a hard time setting up my equipment. Now that I see your shop maybe it's time to do some rearranging...
Are you sure you didn't buy those? :D
Great job!
