Kev I thought there was someone on this forum that coated the brass with Everbrite and had good results. If you read about it on their website it is flexible and will not yellow.
Thanks Mike, that Corian does look great.
Hi guys,
I am searching for a post where somebody was talking about protecting brass placed outside from tarnishing by using Everbrite or Protectaclear. I have used the search function...
Kev they look great. That is something worth finding a supplier for. I think I have underestimated the appeal of laser engraved Stainless products. The customers love that sort of stuff, good work.
Keith going off the information you supplied I searched Acemart and it appears they do not ship to Australia but the product code returns a manufacturer in China thanks to Google. Have sent them a...
Thanks Keith , I have already ordered another brand from another catering supplier here. To be honest I would prefer the best quality over price. I have also inquired from three Indian suppliers as...
So I need some help finding a supplier. When I first bought my laser I started engraving bottle openers as presentos and I was using the Trenton brand opener. They were 0.120 thou thick and had a...
I saw that one Gary when I was looking at the Evo-One and it looks great.
I have put in on the Kickstarter campaign for the Evo-One and am still happy with my decision. Six months ago I was...

Had a look at this desktop CNC Mill on Kickstarter and I like the sales pitch. Looks like...
I'm exactly like this. The guys I work with are use to me rubbing my hands over different signs or taking a photo of them on the phone. Even a walk back from the pub along the street I have a look at...
Bert I checked my account and paid $5 for the complete program. I think what is happening is it is a default shopping cart and page 5 is actually buying 5 copies of the program as you hit the plus...
Bert have a look at ROMCat Clip Art Utility
from CorelDrawUnleashed.com. It does cost $5 but could be just the program you are after to help you search for your files
Bert I get the same result as you have here if I do not convert outline to object before I weld.
Bert I use the weld tool a lot when recreating artwork. I rarely use Corels trace function. I use to screen print before I bought the laser and Tom Night from AdvancedArtist has some great tutorials...
Try this file Bert. I have three circles converted to outline and then added a circle. Selected them all and they weld. See if it does the same for you.
Thats interesting so we need to find out what is going on. I just did a quick test in Coreldraw X6. Created five objects, one large circle and four smaller circles overlapping on the perimeter....
Yes Bert will See if he is happy to upload the file version 9 if possible :)
Graham if it is possible post your file that your working on up here. Save as a X6 version as that is what I have. I'm thinking the objects your trying to weld maybe on different layers. Not 100%...
Bill, your work is incredible, well done.
I agree with you Dan that the file size will not change if inverted or not. He says the graphic size changes ( not file size ) if he changes it to positive. If this is the case I would think it is...
I think ink it will have an effect on actual image size Dan because if his image has a white background and he inverts it now he has the background of the image as black. Depending on his image he...
Roy, I know you asked about the Gold method but you need to read this post where Bob Richardson has gone to a lot of effort to write a macro for Corel to process photos for laser engraving in...
I would raster engrave it. I raster engraved a photo onto black acrylic and the filled with white paint and was happy with the result.
The application tape that sign shops use will work better than masking tape. You can get different strengths of tack, from low to very high. So a low tack application tape applied before lasering and...
