I think it is older or maybe a piece of drift wood. Maybe that is why it is so light in color.

Sprayed some water on it to help with the color. Anyone think it is elm? I think it is to light to be walnut. Most walnut in our area is black walnut.

Welcome to the club Wayne - I have a couple of things that are PM and love them. I have the PM71 table saw made in 1961, and a PM100 planer, made in 1983 if memory serves me right. Check out...
I seen the local custom cabinet guy at his other job the other day and said something to him about how I was not happy with the oak plywood at Manards. He said to me, "you are not using that cheap...
I asked my local auto parts guy about the T5 and that is what he uses in his store and he said that he does not remember replacing them in the addition he added several years ago. When I get or...
I have not noticed at my Menards, but also have not looked. Have you used any of the launa plywood for anything and if you have wondering what you think of it. I bought a sheet of it to use for...
Chris, sorry about your Father in Law. I'm a Powermatic guy but just wanted to give you a site if you do not already have it. You can plug in a distance and what you are looking for and it will...
I built one of these simple ones like Mark did. His 5 cut method for getting the fence right at 90 degrees is awesome. I am going to try to leave the link below.
