Does anyone know what the bevel angle should be for a bowl gouge? I have one that has been ground down so many times the "angle" is sort of an arc. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
Little? That guy's spread out all over the table!
The spalting is great! How did you do it?
At the end of the bowl video he uses a big face plate looking thing to hold the bowl for turning off the stub. What is that thing called?
(Sorry, I'm sort of a noob at this stuff. Thanks!)
Look out, man. The bill is coming and it's going to be big! (But it's worth it.) Congrats.

Thanks again!

Fantastic, thanks to all of you for your time and the information. I'll stop and get some DNA on the way home tonight.
And is this used to assist in drying the stock? Can anyone point me to some information on this?
(And thanks, Ken)
I know I should know this, but what is DNA and how is it used? (Sorry, I'm kind of new at this)

I don't think I would have said that. :)
OK, I'm new here, so please excuse a novice question. It appears to use the Gripper I would remove the blade guard. Is that right? Is that wise? Secondly, how does this work on long pieces of...
This reminds me of a quote from "Peace Like a River". One of the characters says, "How many times do you let a dog bite you before you put him down?"
