Hogan's of Grand Prairie is now Brazos Lumber. They still have their store, but are closed on Saturdays now. Austin Hardwoods is a good place in the Dallas area.

That does it for me then. Next!
When I was 15, I used to live out in the country in Fla. One evening I swore I heard a woman screaming. It sent chills down my spine. My dog started barking but would not go into the woods. The next...
In that case, it may be so you don't confuse the inside with the outside upon assembly.
I use the Hefty Contractor Clean Up bags for my Delta DC. They work fine, when full, slide it out, tie it up and done.
Only reason I can think of is, because you cut the pins and tails in the same pass, you would want to assemble the corners in the same manner as they are cut. However, when I do dovetail drawers for...
Same results here. I bought one and tried to use it but it gave me the error beep every time I touched the wall. I sold it on that auction site for half what I paid for. I chalked it up to "lesson...
I just read an article in "Wood and Wood Products" that talked about chinese plywood. It said there are literally thousands of plywood mills in China, most of which make the poor quality plywood we...
Great job Steve. When she does become the one for him you'll be starting on that island. She'll probably see to that. Keep up the good work.:)
I have a chance to build a Machiai for a customer here in Fort Worth Texas and was looking for some design and construction criteria. Do you have any info on these, or places I can look on the net? I...
I have the one in the first pic, I picked it up 3 or 4 years ago at the WW Show. It was from TWC, I think they are gone now, I have wondered who picked up this little jig as it has been great. I like...
I used to work for a division of TYCO (they also own ADT) and I can tell you that the small local companies can do as good or better than the big national companies as far as customer service and...
Nice job Steve.
I drill mine between 2-3 inches from the top and bottom, but there is no hard fast rule. As far as from the side of the door 3mm is typical. This is a critical dimension as the edge of the door needs...
I'm with Steve.
I bought the $90.00 +/- Freud dado set from Home Depot and it works great. Flat bottoms, no tear out on any ply that I have used, oak, maple, china birch, etc. Nice storage case and plenty of shims....
Very nice table Dana.
Welcome, I grew up in Jacksonville, still have some family there too.
Ditto to what Steve said
Dennis, screwing them together would be the easiest way and would be the way I would do it. They make "cabinet connectors" for this very purpose.

Not sure but they do have a web site mgsawmill.com.
Closest one I know of is M&G Sawmill, down by Huntsville.
I'm with Bill, contractors clean-up bags.
No reason why this should not be done. Another way to do this is build the cabinet out of maple ply on both sides then attach the end panel to the side that will show. You can make the stile on the...
He really meant 8 total teeth, as i asked several times during our conversasion. I had a difficult time with it also. He did mention, as I should have in the original post, that the blades were...
Has anyone ever heard of, or used, such a blade. I had a guy who owns a cabinet shop tell me that an 8 toothed blade gives the best surface when ripping lumber. I asked him several times if he meant...
