Cherry is a great starter wood.
use air. it keeps the chips coming out and cools it down at the same time.
Great haul.
Green ash is what I think from the state that you live in.
Andrew check the side motor mount nuts also and make sure they are tight if they are to lose the motor kicks the pulley up out of line. my pulley only has one hole and one set screw.
Mine did the same thing just move the pulley back. beware the sets screws are metric.
sweet looking bowl great job.
They make this tool about 20 miles from me. I have a friend that has one and loves it, he did a demo for us at our club back in the spring, it works great.

Here in TN we call box elder fish wood because it stinks like dead fish.
Great looking. I see this as a Peterpan and Captain Hook theme. Great Job.

I got a hospital robe last year it works ok. I was at goodwill the other day I picked up a nylon rain jacket it works great for only $2.50
I wonder if yeast mixed up in a empty milk jug would do the same thing. a lot cheaper than beer.
The last I talked to Sean Ackerman at ToolNut they do not carry and Nova lathes. I would call your local stores.
