Tim: I initially thought the bathroom would be strange. Yet when I saw it, it was very well done. They have a Shower curtain, wall hanging and the Coke Sign I built a cabinet for. Not overdone. It's...
Howard: All of the replies on here have been very helpful. Your reply hits in the heart if the matter for me. I was just trying to dispose of the solvents when I cleaned brushes or my spray gun. I...

John: I purchased mine from the manufacturer of my compressor, but basically if you can find an old tire it would work fine. Just cut the pieces square with a hacksaw and a little larger than the...
David: Thanks and I believe this is the one. I will write the builder and see if I can get any additional pictures and info on the sled. Appreciate the help.

Within the last month or so, there was a post on here of a beautiful wood cross cut sled. Looked like the back fence and guard were walnut and it had inserts on th sled. I have not been able to find...
Like most wood workers, I throw out Lacquer, Lacquer Thinner, Mineral Spirits and other paints and solvents. How do you all dispose of these materials? I was thinking of a sealed can or something...
Clint: I have had my 1023SL now for almost a year and could not be happier. It is a solid, powerful and accurate table saw. For the price, it seems to me to be the best around. With shipping, the...
Brian: Beutiful job and something to be really proud of. I always wondered how you shape the seat on one of these. Router or ???

Al: When it was all done, between the sanding sealer and the BLO, the HD Red Oak actually looked nice!
I have a young friend here in the neighborhood who is an Austin Fireman. He has a bathroom with a Coca Cola Theme :) He asked me to build a cabinet for a piece of glass out of an old Coke Machine...
Gene: Steve Clardy has a lot more experience than I do, so his post is probably more reliable. I have used CMT bits and they worked great. Just this week I received a complete bit set (18) from...
Thanks to all who replied and I sincerely appreciate all the help. I will discuss all of these options with the Owner.

Jeff: Interesting. I was anchored at Georgetown Exuma, Bahamas in 2001 and stripped the threads on the bleed valve of my diesel fuel filter. Getting new parts was impossible. A screw air shipped in...
Thanks Ed: The owner wants NOTHING done to anything. So basically I am in a box. Probably my best option is to hand it back to him as is :) And pay for his fixing my clock.
Mike
Darned if I know Ron, but it is like epoxy or Gorilla Glue or something. To be frank, whoever did this to an 18th Century Clock was NOT a woodworker.
Mike
OK, I am taking this to the top because I need some help. If I have not explained the problem correctly. just say so. This is a tough rebuild and I need the expertise from this forum.

Pictured below is an antique clock of Dutch Origin circa 1780. It has fallen off a wall and a local clock mechanism repairman asked me to piece it back together. Original glass/some cracked, cut...
Mark: Every time I think I am getting to be an "OK" woodworker I see something you have done. This is going to be beautiful. Keep it up and keep posting them, it gives all of us some really good...
Thanks Gary. I can get to this one very easily.

Dennis, I may be selling a few of these and wonder if you think dimensioned 1X4 and 2X4 as recommended in some plans I have will work? If not, I do not want to put junk out there, so I will go with...
Thanks to all who replied. I was aware of Austin Fine Hardwoods and shop there all the time. They tend to be high retail, but only sell good product. I will definitely try the M&G Saw Mill in...
Stephen: My neighbor is a big time gardener and home improvement guy and he just put together 3 large raised flower gardens (also growing tomato's). They are about 6X3 foot. He used treated landscape...
