I think this is what a lot of them do. Based on the fact that I had to wait 3 days for Ray Fine to order and receive the desktop for my laser, I am pretty sure that is what they are doing.
All of our business files are stored on a NAS drive. We are currently using a 4 Drive netgear box. The drives are running in a mirror raid configuration. 2 two TB drives that give us just under 2...
For me the smart fill is just correcting the overlapping lines that can not be filled in ezcad. The fill does not transfer over to ezcad from corel.
Edit: Pretty much what Gary said..
Ok, I changed my export setting to match yours and now it seems to be working.
Thank you!
Sorry, I was asking about settings in the export. I see a bunch of options in addition to selecting the export version.
I figure out how to do it, thank you Gary. I exported the logo as .ai (8) and when I import it to EZCAD it has added a lot of extra lines. Am I missing a setting?
I am trying to do this but I cant figure it out. I am adding a layer, selecting the smart fill tool and they clik the logo?
I did a logo in both Corel (exported as .ai 8.0) and in Illustrator saved as .ai 8.0
The corel file was horrible and would take a long time to fix. The Illustrator file was pretty. I will...
I will give it a shot. Is that from illustrator or corel?
Has anyone come up with a good system for preparing logos and text for importing in to ezcad? So far I have tried corel (x5) and illustrator.
All of our artwork are clean vectors, we do not use...
I received a 200x200 lens in addition to the 110x110 that came installed on my machine. Ray Fine sent me what I assume is a configuration file for the 111 lens, but not for the 200. Does anyone...
I have the cyclops system on my machine. So far I have not found a lot of use for it, but then again I have not found a lot of use for the fiber laser. I am still trying to figure it all out. :)
I just tested your settings. They are faster and look good. It is not as brightly polished as my settings. I will play with it more.
I have noticed on mine that when I use speed much over 1000 that it seems to miss a lot of the engraving area. Even at higher power and multiple passes I have this issue. This is on all surfaces,...
I was just testing the JDS black powder coated cup this morning. On my 30 watt fiber galvo I was using 700 speed, 5% power and 80 hz. 45 deg hatch .01.
It was removing the coating and polishing...
We do not have any real local business other that the occasional person who happens to find us. Almost everything we do is shipped to our customers. I am working on getting more local jobs, we...

We have 2 IS400 Volume machines that are used most days. We mostly engrave silver trophies on them. I do not think I have engraved an engraving plate with a diamond in years. Pretty much all...
Thank you, I will give those settings a shot.
If you talking about a moving table, Ray Fine can build it. I discussed with them a small table that uses stepper motors and it was like $600.
Yes, the 100mm lens came calibrated, I will have to calibrate the 200x200
Ok, the laser is up an running. I am not positive what the problem was, Bryant remotely went in and renamed some files and got it to work. Looks like the forgot to send me the configuration for...
I am not sure the exact price that I paid for it, it was listed as a $1200 option but after going back and forth on the pricing, I am not sure what each thing cost. It became a package and we...
I tried the serial number on the board and that did not work. I am able to mark with it, so I am not sure the connection thing is the issue.
