We were not allowed to. If we attached to the house it would go too far into the setback. So it is permitted as a "freestanding gazebo". It is about 2 inches off the house. The beam carring the...
I have built a roof over my deck, shed style. The roof pitch is 1.5 in 12. My wife mentioned today that she wants to hang outdoor blinds on the sides to keep out wind driven rain. The roof is slanted...
I bought a new door for the back patio. The hinge locations on the door do not match the hinges on the frame. The door is steel. What is the best way to go about hanging that door to the original...
You are sitting in the same position I was in a month or 2 ago.. I did not have 220 available so I bought my TS for 110v. Well a month later, I added a subpanel in my garage, converted my TS to 220v,...

I would get this without flinching if I had 1000 budget. Full cabinet, 3 Horsies, really nice fence...
Well guys, thanks to all of your help, I finished my sub panel install yesterday. I hooked up 6 circuits on a 100 amp panel. I created separate circuits for the following:
Dedicated 20 amp 240v...
Anyone know how it compares to the 734 (the one I am looking at)?
Not sure I follow. I am talking about running a sub panel 15 feet away. Off a 60 amp breaker to a 60 amp sub panel. I'm not actually hooking anything up just running the wire under my house to save...
Is it a pretty safe bet that I am going to need 6/3 cable run? If so I am going to do that tonight (without connecting it to anything). Are there any codes to how close it can be to the door, and how...
I am definately adding a sub panel at this point, I am just trying to gather a list of materials. This is where I am at...
Yeah. Maybe I will just run the 6/3 under the house and bring it to where it needs to be this week. And wait on the rest. He said he can come back out again next weekend, but he only has 2 hrs this...
Sounds good. He only has 2 hours on saturday so I am trying to go ahead and get the supplies and run whatever wire I can run so we can get it done. So my plan was to buy whatever wire I need and run...
Just got back from pricing out the materials at lowes. Looks like a 100amp homeline panel will be around $20 bucks with 6 slots capable of 12 circuits (accepts tandem breakers). Six 20Amp breakers...
Lights are already on a separate circuit on my main panel. I also have a separate circuit for the garage plugs, which I am going to remove, since I need to have 2 open slots to run the separate panel...
I found out today that my sister actually works with a certified Electrician. I built a PC for him last year and he is going to come out on Saturday and get me going (back to bartering days). So what...
Wow interesting that the OD of the blast gates are so much different. Do you mind measuring yours so I can see how much different they are? Making me think I should buy the Lee Valley ones instead,...
I have checked craigslist and called around to everywhere I can find in Middle TN. I cannot for the life of me find (except for ordering from Woodcraft) 8/4 Purpleheart. Is the best thing to do is...
Your 4" S&D nipple I am assuming is just a short section of 4" S&D PVC Correct? Are you sure you only need a thin bead of silicone on the blast gate to get a snug fit? My blast gates are the rockler...
So I understand how you connected the blast gate to the machine. But how did you connect it to the PVC? You used the flex hose as a coupler?
They dont fit. So what I did was wrap the blast gate connector with duct tape until it fit. I do not know if this is optimal. Does anyone have another solution they used?
I got my shop DC plumbing complete, the DC setup, the Thien Separator built, and the TS hooked up to the ducting. Hopefully this weekend I will get the router table hooked in to the system, and get...
We have a couple, but the ones I know of will not sell to the public.
Your in luck!
