Seems a bit pricey for desk lamp. Reminds me of the company "BULBING." They manufacture wooden bases and acrylic laser etched designs that are interchangeable, and are lit by LEDs. Very cool design...

Also added a 48" strip of super bright LED lights on our VYTEK LSTAR gantry. We have a controller as well to dim the lights from 100%-25%. Way cool.

Granite from HD comes out okay. All depends on the settings you use. Here is an example on the 12x12 HD granite. Really good for mock-up samples for clients. 289879

Tried out that JDS glass marking tape. Its crap. I get way better results on glass and crystal with the normal parameters I use. Save your money and your time.

I do alot of big granite memorials. I always have a standard 200DPI setting at run it at 75p and 50s on my Vytek Machine. The more mica in the granite, the harder it is to etch. SO..lowering the DPI...

Definitely not a 100% clear acrylic. You should not have any "burnt" edges when cutting this...
