another vote for MTO. Rebuild Makita 18v back in 2007 and still work well. Small company in eastern PA. Easy to deal with and quick turnaround.
Very pretty and efficient. They need a bigger TV! I have plans to do a similar project out of walnut.
My father had this slab from at least mid 90s. It's 8 1/2l by 20w 4 quarter. Since he passed in 2000 I had it stored at my in laws. Now it's ready. Will be a great workout hand milling. As I get...

So is it comfortable ? Looks it. Well done on this project. I had an uncle with an ordinal one of these from the 30s or 40s. Great style that will endure.
Well worth your time!
Nice set, Trevor. Great design and images. Looks like 22-44 sander. I just sold my 16-32. Jealous!
I realize I need to improve the photos, at least rotate correctly. This is the other style table with some cherry reclaimed posts and plywood. Poplar drawer. I cleaned up the dovetail glue before I...

I have the previous version, 22-560, with hood and 4" outlet. Works great using my Jet 1100 collector with trash can separator.
Very nice and welcome to the forum, namesake!
this is very surprising to read here and on other boards. I bought 500 bft of oak and cherry from Mike in summer of 06. He delivered a batch to us in NVA and MD area. Great price too - about $2-3...
Yep, that will do it. To confirm you should search for this thread. Its been 2 years since I found this here. No problems at all for me but I am a once a month w'worker.
You can look up...
i've converted to 6" pipe couple of years ago and also did the impeller upgrade. Search around here for that thread - the 1200 has 12" vs 11. These two changes are worth extending this DC...
I have the Makita (inherited from Dad). This has the horizontal wheel and spins about 800 rpm or less. Its about 15 y/o and got heavy use for planer/jointer blades by him. I have used it last 5 years...

Unfortunately we all can't get what we want....(Rollling Stones circa 1970) You have to take whats available on the networks as our hobby isnt too mainstream to dedicate the kind of shows we all...
I too recommend dealing with Barry directly. Apparently there may be an issue with manufacturing the readout. My initial purchase from Woodcarft experienced the same issues you described. He sent...
My Dad bought a new in 1985 36-444 contractor saw fitted with Unifence 52". He used it pretty well for a hobbyist for 12 years then I inherited it added link belt, machined pulley. We built a dust...
