    Built-in shelves for mom!

This was my biggest project to date! I've built some small furniture and a bed before, but this was a big project because it was for a very picky customer who lives 3 hours away!

I saw my Mom for a late Christmas/New Year's and brought her the shelves and cabinet I had built so she can have a nice work area. Time was limited so I installed 4 of the five sections (there was an electical problem that has to be fixed before the last piece goes up). She loves to paint, so I was able to help prime most of it and she'll finish the rest. We did it by brush, hoping to make it look like these pieces had been here for a hundred years with the rest of the moulding/woodwork in the house. As payment for my services, she offered me more food and Christmas cookies than any sane person should eat in a month

    Thanks for looking!

Looks great. Working for family can be very demanding.

As other have said great job and I love the beadboard look in the back of the cabinet, it adds a nice touch. These are going to look great with the finish coat, keep us posted and we expect pictures of the finished job. I have the very same project coming up for the LOML.........she has put her foot down and wants a wall system built to hold our plasma and we are going to paint them white as well!! I know your mom is going to love these and she will think of you everytime she looks at it.
