    Create Boundary Help

    Hi Everyone!

I'm having a hard time trying to create a boundary around the attached file. My intent is to raster the bear then vector cut it out.. boundary can be offset by 1/16 - 1/8 .

    Thanks,
    Kevin

This should work. Red is the cut line (hairline).

Kevin, one small problem is that some of the lines are not connected. Easy fix, but something to be aware of.

    Thanks for the file.

Is this way the black lines don't "print"??? I've ensured they were black, but they never come up on the print preview..

Not sure on the printing side of it, but if you zoom in where his shoulder meets his head on the right side, you'll see that his arm doesn't meet.

I selected the entire bear, then I used the "Create Boundary" tool, which created a boundary around all the object connected, which didn't work, since those weren't connected. Not trying to say anything was wrong, just pointing out it wasn't connected in case you are having other issues with it.
