I have a fair handle on the flat woodworking magazines, but I have yet to find any good turning ones.
Any suggestions?

Membership in the American Association of Woodturners includes the subscription to the association's journal, American Woodturner. It's well produced and typically includes articles for beginning as well as experienced turners.

"How many turnings can you get out of a log house?"
and I wonder if my Brother would mind!!! HAHAHA
Randy, in my opinion you've recieved the two best references concerning wood turning. The AAW journal is exceptional and well worth the dues for the journal alone and I also like Woodturning Design; my favorite being American Woodturner if you choose just one. Happy reading! Jude
i recomend American Woodturner
I get Woodturning Design
