    B.O.S.S. Spindle Sander Question

    I just picked up a clean, used (good deal) Delta BOSS spindle sander. The oscillating (up/down) motion is not working. I did read on the reviews that there is a nylon gear that is a design flaw and causes this when the gear breaks. My question is.....has anyone ever changed one out? is the part available? Is it worth the trouble? Thanks again for any help or suggestion. jg

    If no one else has an answer, let me know. I have the manual for mine, and can look up the gear. Then you can get a price from Delta. I have had good luck with getting parts and manuals from them.
