I used Hidden Barrel hinges for the first time, yesterday. Overall, I had success - but, I thought I would share one issue that came up that presented an opportunity to "overcome".

Although, I figured to loosen the set screw prior to pounding them in to the box, once in, I didn't think to "set" them....or should I say, I was going to set them after I secured the lid.

When pounding the lid down, on to the recently placed in the box, hinges - instead of going in to the lid, which was the desired effect - they went deeper in to the box.

It took a while to straighten it out, but I did. I tightened the set screws on the other ones, and it worked out fine.

Just thought I'd share that little problem. Maybe save somebody from having it happen to them... Who needs this kind of aggravation? Set me back about 1/2 screwing around with that first one....
