    Smile Black Cherry 11"X 4"

Here's a Black Cherry bowl I re-turned a few days ago, it had a surprise knot in it, gives it some eye appeal

    Sweet Cherry

Leo, Very nice bowl and a good one to be used and loved! I could sit in front of the TV watching a good movie with it full of popcorn! I enjoy your simple and pleasing designs. Lots of mine won't hold any thing with the holes in them!

    Have a great day,

    Jeff

Very nice work once again Leo! Love the classic shape and the undercut rim! Proof once again that a turning doesn't have to be fancy to grab your attention!

    Hi John, thanks
No I don't use any special tools John, yes always very careful going in with a conventional sharpened gouge, takes a bit of practice, I like the looks of a undercut rim on some bowls

T'was a pretty good piece of Cherry, just a couple of small checks in the little branch knots, but all nice and solid, it will be much nicer I when the color has matured some I think, that's my fav' look of Cherry
