Just put the finishing touches on the cabinet I built in our downstairs bathroom.
The sink shown was on a pedestal and the LOML didn't like it much - no storage space at all, but it sort of does look a little classy.
Anyway, I took the pedestal out, built the cabinet, and used the old sink.
This is my very first cabinet. Its a basic ply carcass with a clear pine face. The top is reinforced under the ply sheet with a 1x4 frame to support the weight of the tile and sink.
I used Kregg's pocket hole system to assemble the face. First time to use that as well (first time for pocket holes in general, let alone the Kregg)... worked pretty well, goes together real fast when you do it that way.
The light over the sink was not there, it was on the other side of the bathroom, so I got to do some electrical work as well.
edit: LOML did all the paint work for the cabinet and walls (figured I better give her credit where it is due)
