    Golf Ball Display Case

I installed this this afternoon. Before you ask, yes it is in the garage. It will eventually be put in the customer's cabin but for now it's in the garage. Trust me, his garage is nicer than 99% of the houses owned by the general population.
This was a fun project to work on. The case sides are mitered and reinforced with dominos. The shelves for the golf balls are held in place with dominos as well. The crown is a composite that I outsourced. Cutting it and staining it was a challenge. I'm happy with the results since I don't consider myself much of a finisher. My camera makes the case look blotchy but it's not. It was finished with Target Ultima Antique Maple stain, Mohawk's Van Dyke brown glaze and black glaze and then topped with lacquer.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Here are a few more pictures that show the raised panels on the sides and a better look at the distressing.

Very well done Russell. The design and detail are superb. Someone must be a very avid golfer to have that many golf balls to display.
