I am building my first raised panel cabinet doors. I have completed the stiles and rails. My next step is the panels. How much clearance is needed between the tongue on the panel and the groove in the stile/rail? I am talking thickness clearance. I am using spaceballs and have left the clearance stated for the height and width. The material is red oak. I notice my cabinets in my house have a visible clearance which is at least 1/32". I was planning on making it just so the panel would clear and slide in the groove. Any suggestions?
