    From Sketchup to product

I've been making a new mailbox post, and designed it with SU. Finished product is darned close to the plans.

Looks similar to one I saw Norm make. I'm attempting to do the same with my Tansu.

    Good stuff!

Thumbs up I built Norms version

fun project, and really dressed up my curb appeal. Looks like you got a good thing going there.
I'm still trying to figure out Sketchup

That's real similar to Norm's except for the turned top on his.

Good looking project. Good thing you don't live on my road. It wouldn't last a year between the kids with bats and the snowplows. My mailbox is mounted on a set of hinges with gate closing springs so it will swing out of the way when it gets hit then return so the mail can be delivered.

Very nice end results on the mailbox, Myk. I would take it to the curb and mount it though... the USPS won't deliver when the garage door is locked.

    Well done...

    Sarge..
