    Walnut and Cherry cannister

This cannistr is 7.25 X 6.? and finished with 2 coats of DO and 2 wheel buffed. The walnut was from an odd shaped cutoff from another project. Started life as a bowl but was too deep and broad for my tast so the wife says.....a cannister! You know they are always right! The Cherry lid was also from the waste pile and was a cutoff from a larger Cherry bowl. Hope all the curl show in the lid...Bill...

The last shot is of 3 new HF's with the next to last coat of Poly. I'll post them in a week or two.

    Very nice!

I love practical things. Your canister is not only practical, it's beautiful, too. Very well done!

    What he said.

I like artsy pieces, too, but if they are also functional then that's as good as it gets, IMNSHO.

Very nice canister Bill! Nice form, beautiful wood and finish! Nice little flair to the lip! Also like the subtle detail work on the lid!

Hollow forms look beautiful! Love all that color! Great looking gloss finish! Looking forward to seeing the post once completed!

    Bill,

Everything is great, especially the hollow forms, they are awesome. I think that, that finish is really great. Wonderful work, Bill, keep it up.
