    Cherry Coaster Set

Here's a set of Cherry Coasters I made. I finished them with 3 coats of linseed oil.

The holder wasn't my best work as I was in a little bit of a hurry to get it done.

Very nice, Kyle. Did you make them on the router table?
It’s only work if somebody makes you do it.
A day can really slip by when you're deliberately avoiding what you're supposed to do.

Yes, They were made on my router table. I was using an Incra fence, so it made it pretty easy to get the spacing perfect.

I thought you might have had the Incra. I bought the LS Positioner awhile back, but have only used it for some basic stuff so far. I really want to try it out on something like this and like the trivet that they have on the website.

Those are eye-catching coasters, Kyle. Nice indeed.

    Nice Kyle.

I've been thinking of getting the Incra Jig for just this kind of reason.

I made some trivets using the same kind of idea.

How do they work with big, fat, wet glasses? They don't stick, do they?

I have used it for a handful of different things. I really like the adjustability of the Incra. It works really well as a jointer when using the independently adjustable split fence that come with the Wonder Fence option. I've tried doing dovetails a few times but I just can't get the hang of it. They don't come out very nice for me.

Thanks Jeremy, I actually gave them away as a gift so I don't really know how they performed with wet glasses. I wouldn't think that they would stick though. I guess I'll have to make some for myself and find out.
